The good thing about making a spreadsheet from scratch is that you can customize it to fit your needs. You’re going to want to list all of your websites or blogs, their addresses, user names and passwords and then you will want to include your marketing information. Each affiliate program you have signed up with will provide you with stats that you can easily transfer to your spreadsheet. You will want to list the name of the affiliate program, the products you promote, number of sales, rate of commission, and the money you have earned. You may also include other categories that are important to you.

Sometimes you’ll end up with some rather strange keyword phrases, but the trick is to use punctuation to make these keywords make sense in context. If you need to, add conjunctions (and, or, etc.) which the search engines don’t pay a lot of attention to in order to make your keywords make sense.

If you want to be successful in niche marketing, you need to make sure that your content is good enough to make people want to return to your site to learn more. While it’s great to get your keywords worked into your content, that shouldn’t be the aim of your content – the idea is to provide readers with high quality content which they’ll actually want to read.
